- Lead Analyst/Principal Analyst Asset Management (Private Credit) Financial Research

We are looking for resourceful candidates to join our Asset Management team in the Financial Research group located in Bengaluru, Gurugram, or Hyderabad. The team operates within the Private Credit domain and provides support to Asset Managers in the US and Europe. The team's responsibilities encompass various crucial aspects of the post-trade deal lifecycle, like deal onboarding onto our in-house platform, creating end- to-end reporting frameworks, monitoring investment performance, tracking covenants, formulating exit strategies, participating in asset management meetings with servicers and borrowers, managing cash for future fundings, and assisting with investment pricing.
WHAT YOU WILL DO DAY-TO-DAY:
In this role, you will work closely with asset managers, servicers, and other internal teams to support asset management-related processes. You will be expected to compile and present asset management reports to senior executives and asset managers. You will also have to work on
monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews of the portfolio and assist in valuations, monthly reviews of business plans, and deviation analysis. You will be involved in developing knowledge of servicer feeds and internal tools to aid in the analysis and performance of portfolios.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- The ideal candidate should have a finance degree (MBA) or an equivalent qualification, along with 2-10 years of relevant work experience
- The candidate should possess knowledge of financial concepts and be able to perform financial analysis, including ROI, IRR, and discounted cash flow modelling
- Candidates with working knowledge of structured finance asset classes are encouraged to apply
- The candidate should be self-motivated, possess keen analytical skills, and have the ability to effectively interact with trading desk/stakeholders
- The ideal candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
- Candidate should have the ability to lead projects autonomously with limited direction and guidance
