Description
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with a strong background in personal injury & insurance bad faith. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing high-volume caseloads from pre-litigation through trial. This role involves direct client interaction, evidence gathering, and supporting attorneys in achieving successful outcomes for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Support attorneys in all phases of litigation, including case intake, filing and serving legal documents, discovery, and trial preparation.
- Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery requests/responses, demand letters, subpoenas, and settlement packages.
- Maintain accurate case files, track deadlines, and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures.
- Serve as primary point of contact for clients, keeping them informed about case progress and next steps.
- Communicate with insurance carriers, opposing counsel, experts, and vendors.
- Prepare trial binders, witness lists, and exhibits; assist with trial logistics and courtroom support.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of litigation paralegal experience.
- Solid understanding of insurance claims processes, and litigation procedures.
- Familiarity with state and federal court rules, electronic filing, and case management software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills and client service mindset.
- Paralegal certificate or degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
