Your Role and Impact
As a Senior Manager in our Risk practice, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our footprint in the financial services sector. Your primary focus will be on business development and client relationship management , helping us grow our presence in risk-related domains. While deep technical risk expertise is not a prerequisite, a strong understanding of the financial sector and regulatory landscape is essential.
You will:
- Lead and grow client relationships, especially with CROs and their leadership teams.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your network and market insights.
- Inspire and manage high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to shape compelling value propositions and deliver impactful solutions.
- Experience in the use of Generative AI and emerging technologies to transform risk functions and unlock new value for clients is an advantage.
- Stay informed on evolving regulatory frameworks and help clients navigate compliance with confidence.
- Represent our firm at industry events and forums, strengthening our brand and visibility.

Your background
- Master's (WO) degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Econometrics, Computer Science or Engineering;
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant consulting experience, either through your work at other consulting firms or through leading operational improvements or business transformation programs;
- General understanding of the challenges that CROs face, financial risk management and risk modelling concepts
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills, ability to build rapport with CROs and senior risk professionals;
- Motivated self-starter with hands-on attitude, strong problem solving skills;
- Leadership and communication skills to mentor, challenge, advise, and coach team members and foster a team-oriented environment;
- Strong business development skills and relevant network in the CRO functions / community of our (potential) clients;
- Experience from positions such as a senior risk manager is a plus;
- Experience in the use of Gen AI and emerging technologies is a plus;
- CFA / FRM is a plus;
- Fluent verbally and in writing in English, Dutch is a plus.
Your team:
You will be part of the Risk & Compliance (R&C) team and together with a team of professionals will lead the (financial) risk practice on a daily basis. The team is a highly skilled and motivated team. The R&C team is a global group of Risk and Compliance experts providing Strategy & Consulting services to financial services institutions.
