Are you a driven Credit Analyst , experienced Senior Credit Analyst , or proven Credit Manager ? We're hiring for multiple roles across various levels of experience!
Join a leading client in the Business Finance and Lending industry with a track record of solving complex financial challenges for Australian businesses . These roles are critical to the customer journey, blending deep financial analysis with strategic relationship management.
You'll be assessing credit applications from customers and brokers, using comprehensive tools, bank statements, and financial statements to determine creditworthiness. Your enthusiasm and sharp business acumen will enable you to identify customer needs and recommend tailored financing solutions.
Responsibilities:
Perform efficient financial analysis and credit risk assessment for commercial lending applications.
Conduct detailed assessments of applicant profiles, industry risks, and financial positions.
Prepare sound credit assessments for approval within your Delegated Lending Authority (DLA) or for recommendation to higher delegation holders.
Ensure strict adherence to credit underwriting standards and guidelines.
Work in partnership with Relationship Managers and Sales teams to structure optimal credit solutions.
Conduct phone interviews with applicants and brokers, effectively negotiating key criteria to manage risk.
Build meaningful relationships with internal stakeholders and clearly communicate decisions professionally.
Requirements:
Background working in a Non-Bank Lender or FinTech with a solid understanding of the SME market or commercial lending
Previously held DLA for commercial/business lending is preferred for the Senior Analyst and Manager roles.
Demonstrated experience in assessing commercial credit based on financial statements and bank statements.
Strong attention to detail and intuitive investigative skills, with a sharp and quick ability to pluck out key information.
Excellent communication skills for engaging with both internal and external stakeholders or customers.
The client is open to candidates based in Sydney or Melbourne. They offer hybrid working, with 3 days in the office and a strong team culture.
