Maslon LLP is seeking a mid-level Litigation Paralegal with 5-10 years of experience. •    Perform legal and regulatory research and analysis for attorneys, including review of local rules and cite checks of briefs, pleadings, and appellate filings.
•    Conduct document reviews for responsive and privileged records; organize and coordinate document productions, including preparation of privilege, redaction, and production logs.
•    Draft litigation documents for review and use by attorneys.  
•    Assist with communications to clients, co-counsel, opposing counsel, and courts.

Day-to-Day Duties:
•    Prepare, organize, and file litigation documents and correspondence.
•    Conduct legal research.
•    Update and maintain internal databases; collect data and prepare reports and summaries
•    Organize documents for attorney review and case preparation.
•    Prepare for and attend depositions, including organization and management of exhibits.

Qualifications, Skills, Experience:  
•    Excellent command of verbal and written communications, including proofreading and editing skills. 
•    Strong analytical skills.
•    Ability to work with a variety of personalities in high-stress situations.
•    Knowledge and experience in Maslon’s litigation practice areas. 
•    Advanced software skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
•    Superior organizational and project management skills; preferred candidates will have past experience managing large volumes of electronic databases and paper files, including document collections and productions in eDiscovery software (e.g. Relativity). 
•    Ability to prioritize and manage competing projects and deadlines, and remain calm and on task under pressure. 
•    Associate or Bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies or Bachelor’s degree with a certificate in paralegal studies from an accredited program.
