The River Campus Libraries (RCL) Department of Rare Books, Special Collections, and Preservation (RBSCP) seeks a dynamic, strategic-focused Lead Collections Manager. The successful candidate will be a forward-thinking leader who is knowledgeable and enthusiastic about managing, processing, and preserving special collection materials. RBSCP has a wide array of collection strengths, including comprehensive collections that speak to Greater Rochester, NY, local history and culture, and the history of the University of Rochester. Reporting to the Director, the Lead Collections Manager is part of an engaged team that provides vision and leadership for the continued management and use of rare and unique materials in research, instruction, exhibitions, collaborative projects, digital scholarship, and other contexts.
