Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Paralegal - Case Manager

Are you a detail-oriented, highly motivated pre-litigation paralegal ready to take charge of case management and keep the pre-suit process running smoothly from start to finish? We're on the lookout for a highly organized and proactive Pre-Suit Paralegal/Case Manager to support our legal team with expertise and enthusiasm! The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, an excellent communicator, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation:
$48,500 - $60,000 (DOE; Plus Bonuses Based on Performance)
Responsibilities:
Client Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing updates, answering questions, and ensuring they feel supported throughout the pre-suit process.
Records Requests: Obtain, track, and organize medical records, bills, and lien information from healthcare providers and facilities.
Public Records Requests: Draft and send requests for incident reports, 911 calls, body cam footage, and other government/public records relevant to case development.
Demand Preparation: Assist attorneys with drafting demand letters, including compiling medical summaries, damages documentation, and supporting exhibits.
Insurance Communication: Correspond with insurance adjusters regarding claims, policy limits, demands, and supporting documentation.
Case Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files in the firm's case management system, ensuring deadlines are tracked and met.
Collaboration: Work closely with attorneys, case managers, and litigation staff to ensure a seamless transition if a case proceeds to litigation.
Qualifications:
Talented verbal communicator and writer
Must have great time-management skills, and organizational skills
Must have 3-5 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer, preferably in a personal injury law firm
