- Credit Risk Business & Technical Analyst (Client Delivery)
Description
About Surity
Surity is building an AI-native credit intelligence platform for energy and commodity trading firms. We are moving from build into live client pilots with major energy trading counterparties and are growing the team to support the next phase: production installs, our first paying customers, and rollout across clients over the coming year.
The role
We are looking for someone who has implemented credit risk systems for real users, ideally in energy and commodities, and who combines business analysis, technical depth and client-facing delivery in one person.
You will sit between our clients and the platform. That means managing client stakeholders through pilots and installs, turning what credit users ask for into clear requirements, training users on the platform, and checking that what we ship is right before clients see it. You will become one of the most fluent people in the company on the platform itself.
This is a hands-on role. You will spend as much time in the detail (interrogating data, reproducing defects, working out why a recommendation is wrong) as you do in front of
stakeholders. If something doesn't look right, we expect you to open it up and find out why.
CLIENT STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT
- Own the day-to-day client relationship through pilots and installs: manage expectations, discuss priorities and agree timings with users
- Be the trusted point of contact between credit users and the Surity team
REQUIREMENTS
- Gather requirements from credit stakeholders and business users, understand what
they are really asking for, and turn conversations into clear, testable requirements - Shape and iterate on ideas before they pass to development, with enough credit
domain fluency to challenge a requirement rather than simply relay it
CLIENT TRAINING AND ENABLEMENT
- Get deep on the platform early, then own user familiarisation and training at each client install.
- Explain functionality clearly to credit and front-office users and build their confidence
as installs go live
PLATFORM QUALITY AND AI VALIDATION
- Run structured, end-to-end walkthroughs of the platform, with proper test cycles and defect reports a developer can act on: reproduction steps, expected vs actual, severity
- Validate AI recommendations by tracing a credit output back to source data and business logic, and judge whether it is actually correct
- Investigate issues to root cause yourself: reproduce, isolate and describe a problem clearly enough that the fix is obvious
Requirements
What we're looking for
- A first-principles problem solver who is happiest digging into data, configuration and
logic to work out why something is wrong - Hands-on experience implementing or delivering credit risk management systems, as
a business analyst, technical analyst or implementation consultant, ideally for energy
and commodity trading firms - Credit risk domain fluency: comfortable with counterparty credit concepts and able
to judge whether a credit output is correct - A real technical grounding, whether a computer science background or equivalent
hands-on system configuration, data and testing work, and the ability to work with
developers - Strong requirements skills, with the credibility to hold a conversation with a credit or
trading professional - A confident communicator, at ease presenting to and training front-office and credit
users - Self-directed and comfortable in an early-stage company: this is a broad role in a
small team, working directly with the founders - Curious about AI and agentic systems, and keen to become an expert user of one
